Hi Glen.  I tried this in 7.2.0.0 and the search for "lock" turned up pages and
pages of parameters, mostly things with names that include "block" or "clock". 

The simplest solution seems to me to be to make it clearer in the README that
the file locking section only applies to linux (and Windows if that is true).
