AFAIK, RTF is similar to HTML in terms of <b>bold text</b> or <h1>Heading</h1>.
If you copy text with a certain paragraph style like <emphasis>bold
text</emphasis> from a full-featured word processor into a simple text format
with a few formatting capabilities you loose information. Clearly NAB.

If you need further information or confirmation we have to ask an expert such
as Mike.
