Bug ID: 140021
Summary: Change "Superordinate settings" to "Right to left" is
lost & not saved in multi columns layout
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.4.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: yousifjkadom at yahoo.com
Hi.
To reproduce this bug:
1) launch LO writer,
2) go to "format" | columns | & set columns at 2
3) click "Ok"
4) you will see typing pointer within column facing your right hand, though
language UI & locale are set to English. If you type then column on your right
side will full 1st before you can type within column on your left side.
5) save & exit,
6) now re-open document,
7) go again to "format" | columns | & change "Text direction" from
"Superordinate settings" into "Left to right",
8) save & exit.
9) re-open document & you will see contents reverted: what were within column
on your right side will be within column on your left side !
10) go again to "format" | columns | & you will see "Text direction" re-set on
"Superordinate settings" !
