            Bug ID: 140040
Summary: LO 6.0 and following work much too slowly
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: sebastian_kaemper at t-online.de

Description:
I wonder if it's a character of LO or a bug but the newer versions work so
slowly that I'm going to change my office programs back to Wordperfect office
or Microsoft Office.
An example: I work with an amd fx processor (lenovo z 50 Laptop, 16 GB RAM
memory[!]) and a ssd. Best requirements for fluid working. But why does it need
almost 1 minute (!) to start a document (.odt!) from the ssd? And if your try
to design a presentation with impress it costs horrible much time - at least
(!) double of time which you need for a design with ppp of Microsoft.
I downgraded from LO 7.04 to 6.0 but it's no real progress. But each higher
version decelerates working with LO. Unfortunately, because in my eyes your
work to conceive an open source software is such a great project.

Actual Results:
Nothing: It's as slow as before.

Expected Results:
Working much more quicker.

Reproducible: Always
