Bug ID: 143167
Summary: Calc "Freeze Rows and Columns" randomly forgets row
and column settings even though feature still checked
on
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.7.3 release
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: rwp728 at yahoo.com
Description:
Calc "Freeze Rows and Columns" is set in my case to freeze at cell K3. It
works after setting, but frequently loses the setting after saving the sheet,
and the sheet acts like no freeze was done. However, the checkbox for View ->
Freeze cells -> Freeze Rows and Columns is still checked on. To fix the
problem I have to uncheck the box, then re-select the K3 cell, then re-check
the box.
This is running under Linux Mint 19.3 and the Libre app data is as follows:
Version: 6.0.7.3
Build ID: 1:6.0.7-0ubuntu0.18.04.10
CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set rows and columns to freeze cells at a certain cell.
2. Do work and save the sheet.
3. Reopen the sheet and sometimes the sheet will act as if no freeze was done,
even though the feature is still checked on.
Actual Results:
Random loss of frozen cells on reopening sheet
Expected Results:
Have to uncheck Freeze Rows and columns, then re-select the key cell, then
re-check Freeze Rows and Columns to re-establish frozen rows and columns.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: Yes
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
The software should have a bug-free way of saving Freeze Rows and Columns
settings so they don't get randomly dropped.
