Okay. So I downloaded the AppImage of the 7.2.0 version and I noticed I wasn't
facing the problem of gif files there. So, whatever it had been has been taken
into notice and implemented in the 7.2.0 alpha version.

This bug had been bothering me a lot throughout various versions of
libreoffice. I despised using MS office. I've always wanted to shift completely
to libreoffice and had no problems (so far) with regard to writer and calc. It
was impress that was a hurdle. A major part of that being the the gif problem.
I can see that it has been fixed in 7.2.0 alpha build. So, I think I'll install
the 7.2.0 version as of now.
:) :)
