Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.1.4.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

=========================================
For over a year, through many major and minor versions, LO Calc crashes on exit
after opening an xlsx or ods file. If no changes have been made to the file,
the crash is reported on the next open. If changes have been made, sometimes LO
Calc hangs and requires a forced close (and still reports a crash on the next
open).
For what it is worth, I have drivers for a Brother MFC-L2740DW laser printer
and an HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw on this system (some discussions have
pointed to printer drivers).
I have fully uninstalled LO at various times, but usually update to the next
release version as soon as I can in the hope that this has been resolved.
When I create a new spreadsheet via the context menu shortcut, open it, close
it and reopen it, having entered no data, I get a crash report popup.
As to first steps:
+ In preparing this report I verified that removing/renaming my user profile
does not mitigate the issue.
+ I do have about 300 fonts installed, but unless you can provide a script to
hide them from LO and reinstate them afterward, I am not prepared to do that
testing.
+ Disabling Skia/Vulkan does not mitigate the issue.
+ OpenCL is not in use, and enabling it does not mitigate the issue.
