Hmm, if you mean you launched with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=x11, that will have no
effect as such an alias does not exist. I don't know what you mean by "all of
them look the same". gtk3 and kf5 certainly don't look the same. You can check
from Help - About VCL: what you are actually running at a given moment.

Can you confirm that it misbehaves when you see VCL: gtk3 in Help - About?
