Bug ID: 143544
Summary: Table rows corrupted
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.6.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: corneil.duplessis at gmail.com
Description:
I was editing a table with rows that spanned more than 3 pages.
A few lines on the first page, then a full page and then some lines on the last
page. When I switched options for repeating headers or allowing rows to span
pages I found that some of the rows appeared duplicated in another section of
the table. It was difficult to know if is was a display issue or a real data
issue. Exporting the document to PDF showed that it data repeating. I
eventually had to find an older copy of the document to get the rows back to
normal and then continued my editing in Word.
Steps to Reproduce:
I unsure, I havne't had time to reproduce.
A table with 4-5 column of which the first had a date. The table started low on
one page and spanned another full page and portion of a 3rd.
Change Table Contents or Table Heading styling
Change Table options Heading Rows Repeat across pages and Row Break across
pages.
I think not the whole table was selected but some of the rows were selected.
Actual Results:
Rows appeared in unexpected positions in the table
Expected Results:
The table properties would change accordingly like show headers or not
splitting a row across a page.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: No
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
Seems like when a few rows are selected the Table Properties are not applied to
whole table.
