Can someone using OS 10.13 try to reproduce, just to compare? Meanwhile I even
completely removed LibreOffice, and all the application settings, preferences
and everything else I found (~/Library/...), reinstalled from scratch, and the
problem is still present. 
I'm not in a position to update to a later OS as some essential every-day tools
don't work on OS later than 10.13.
