Check your math.

B6: =B5-B4
B7: =B3*B6+B3*B4
which is
=B3*(B5-B4)+B3*B4
which is
=B3*B5-B3*B4+B3*B4

You are effectively eliminating any change in B4 with -B3*B4+B3*B4
