Bug ID: 142737
Summary: Dialog box from menu: Tools➔Options➔LibreOffice
Draw➔Grid changes user entered value for subdivision
horizontal and vertical value under certain conditions
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.1.3.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: nelsonch650 at gmail.com
Description:
Grid options not retained on Apply or OK and the result yields an incorrect
grid and incorrect dimension line values.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set scale to 1:16.
2. Set resolution to 0.75" for both horizontal and vertical.
3. Set Subdivision to 96 for both horizontal and vertical.
4. Click Apply.
These settings should yield a grid with lines at 12" and subdivisions every
1/8". Drawing dimensions lines using this setting yields incorrect values due
to the value of 96 not being retained. I had similar problems with dimemsion
lines even when the subdivision value is retained. E.G., using a value of 48
should yield 1/4" (0.25") divisions, however, dimension lines would
occasionally yield values with x.74 instead of always breaking at x.00, x.25,
x.50, and x.75. I suspect there is a rounding problem in the calculation
somewhere.
Actual Results:
Subdivision values will change to 99 and not retain the value of 96.
Expected Results:
Subdivision values will retain the value of 96.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
The dialog box should not change the user entered value of 96
