            Bug ID: 142747
Summary: Cannot apply emphasis animation effects to selections
                    of text
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: eyalroz1 at gmx.com
            Blocks: 109362

I have a slide object with a bunch of text; and I want to emphasize, as an
animated effect, some word occurring within that text. Not a whole line - just
one word.

So, I select it, add an Emphasis animation effect, and... the whole line gets
emphasized. It should be just my selection of text. (Also, if I select text on
more than one line, I would expect it to be a single effect, not multiple
effects, but that's a secondary issue).
