Then Heiko is right. There is *no* character styles in paragraph styles.
Paragraph styles simply define both character-specific and paragraph-specific
properties, while character styles define only character-specific properties.
It is basic architecture of ODF, and is not something to change, at least
without re-designing architecture of the format and application.
