Can not confirm.

In the Start Center the Tumbnail views of the Recent Document, or of the
Templates must be toggled active by click selecting either the 'Recent
Documents'  button or the 'Templates' button.

The view toggles to follow the selection.

Keyboard navigation <F6> and <Tab> also works to move focus onto either button,
and a <Space> or <Enter> will make the selection and toggle to the correct
thumbnail view.
