Bug ID: 142960
Summary: Recording Track Changes - LibreOffice Text Documents
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.3.1 release
Hardware: All
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: commercial5 at nyc.rr.com
More often than not, "Track Changes" does not offer the "Record" option.
Normally, "Track Changes" can be turned on (with no evident tracking as the
result) or turned off, but when MS Word documents are opened in LibreOffice
there is no way to record changes because LibreOffice does not offer that
option, even though it OCCASIONALLY does and in any case is supposed to do that
all the time. I marked this as "CRITICAL" because if this isn't fixed, I can
no longer use LibreOffice, and also because it's a major malfunction of the
basic LibreOffice functionality.
