Same here.
In addition, the AutoCorrect tool does not work in Writer.

Maybe something related to the VCL UI.
I tried this: 'export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=qt5' in ~/.profile
(found here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=263898)

Now both the correct decimal separator in Calc and AutoCorrect in Writer work.

I hope this will be only a temporary workaround because using qt5 UI for LO in
XFCE DE is not so nice...

Version: 7.1.1.2
OS: Archlinux (Linux 5.11); UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 by default,
workaround = qt5
Locale: fr_FR.UTF-8; UI: fr-FR
