--- Comment #33 from sdc.blanco at youmail.dk ---
---test document here ---
Para 1 – top of page
1. List entry 1
2. List entry 2
---end of test document---
Test 1
1. Select (some part) of Para 1
2. Press Ctrl, while selecting (some part) of List entry 1
Result: “continue previous numbering” is inactive.
Expected: ??
Test 2.
1. Select (some part) of Para 1
2. Press Ctrl, while selecting (some part) of List entry 1 and List entry 2
and ending with cursor in List entry 2.
3. Format>Lists> “continue previous numbering”
Result: Para 1 added to list.
Test 3.
1. Select (some part) of Para 1
2. Press Ctrl, while selecting (some part) of List entry 2 and then
List entry 1, ending with cursor in List entry 1.
3. Format>Lists> “continue previous numbering”
Result: “Continue previous numbering” is inactive.
Test 4.
1. Select (some part of) all three lines, ending with cursor in List entry 2.
Result: “Continue previous numbering” is inactive.
Expected: ??
Questions
1. Why should “continue previous numbering” be inactive in Test 1? (given Test
3)?
2. Test 2 and Test 3 are identical in terms of what is selected, but depending
on cursor position, “continue previous numbering” is active or not. (seems
unnecessarily arbitrary)
3. Given that all paras are selected in Test 2 and Test 3, why shouldn’t
situation in Test 4 also enable “continue previous numbering”?
