Bug ID: 141139
Summary: Impress pen settings not saved when using
gnome-integration
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.4.4.1 rc
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: bugreporter at bchemnet.com
Description:
Changes to the pen thickness and color are not retained when a presentation
ends if gnome-integration is being used. Previous settings changed prior to
using gnome-integration are loaded, so the issue appears to be only of
retaining the changes when a presentation ends. It may go back further than
6.4.4.1, but that is when I first encountered it (started using the pen
feature). Presumably whatever the first version was that utilized gtk3? It is
still present in 7.1.1. Happens both with Debian packages and official debs.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Libreoffice Impress with gnome-integration (gtk3) interface active.
2. Start a new slideshow (new or old file, does not matter)
3. Change pen color and/or thickness.
4. End presentation.
5. Restart presentation and observe that pen settings have reverted to the
settings at the time of program start.
6. Repeat 2-4 with gnome-integration off. Restart presentation and observe
that the modified pen settings are retained.
Actual Results:
Pen settings not retained.
Expected Results:
Pen settings should be retained.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
Version: 7.0.4.2
Build ID: 00(Build:2)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.9; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.utf8); UI: en-US
Debian package version: 1:7.0.4_rc2-1+b1
Calc: threaded
(but as noted above, it affects versions before and after)
