Many thanks, I have forgotten about this Options setting as I used this
correctly for years. Probably due the need of resetting of the user profile
when upgrading to 7.0 for another bug (lost icons) this options changed in my
settings.
I would suggest, that the Option in Load/Save - MS Office - Character
highlighting is set to Export as HIGHLIGHTING as DEFAULT. Now it is set to
Shading.
I think this cause some chaos:
- both LO and MS Office work with "HIGHLIGHT",
but if you work in LO and use highlight and export the file to .doc/.docx
without knowing about this issue, you expect other result, as you get, because
by default means the export to .doc/.docx:
LO HIGHLIGHT = MS SHADOW which is confusing.
I quickly checked the other bugs you mentioned but I get lost and do not know,
if the default setting will be changed or not:)
