Bug ID: 141266
Summary: It would be great if LO Calc could have the ability to
find and replace text that is in a cell which has a
lot of text. It currently does not.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.3 all versions
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: bugreport13 at gmail.com
Description:
If I L click on Edit, and then Find & Replace, it just goes to the next cell
where it finds that text. That is not what I want it to do.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.L click on Edit, and dropdown in that menu
2.L click on Find & Replace
3.
Actual Results:
It goes to the next applicable cell in Calc.
Expected Results:
I want it to be able to go to the next instance of that text within that same
cell that has a lot of text in it, and replace all the instances of that text,
and not go to the next applicable cell until it's done replacing all the
instances. When it finds no more instances of that, then it can try to go to
the next applicable cell.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
None.
