Bug ID: 141336
Summary: error in date
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: rjsmith at smu.edu
In a spreadsheet, I use several dates for when people pick up food from my
volunteer organization. I set all the date columns formatted as "Dates, 1/1".
All are typed as straight text such as 8/2.
The problem exists with these three dates: Jan 04, Jan 02, and March 04.
They display as 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 (fractions)in a much smaller font so that the
misinformation fits on the same line. At this time, these seem to be the only
dates affected. "1/8" "2/16" and other dates that do not appear as fractions
with a "4" as the denominator work properly.
I deal with it by putting a zero in front of either the month or the day.
Examples: 01/4 or 1/04. Later, I do a search and replace from 01/4 to 1/4 and
that corrects the error on those three dates.
I am a new user of Libre Office and I am using it steadily. Thank you for all
your excellent work.
Peace and good health to all. Stay safe. You are irreplaceable to the people
who care about you! 8)
