I confirm it with

Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 15a9bee9ef26ce13ed1e26319306a88b6d886158
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: CL

The following is happening
In step 3 you drag also the blank space before the word, although it doesn't
seem to be selected (same result, if you copy or cut and paste) => bug
After undo blank space is selected => expected result
Result after step five is also expected

So simpler steps to reproduce
1. open a new document and write "one two three" in a line
2. Double click "two" (only the word seems to be selected) and drag it behind
"three" => blank space is also dragged
3. Undo => blank space is incuded into selection

=> I changed bug summary and hope you agree.

Telesto, since you report a lot of bugs: Please try to figure out what really
happens. This would reduce the work for all people who try to reproduce your
reports.
