            Bug ID: 142253
Summary: Writer cursor can't be stopped from blinking
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.2.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: jonmarks77 at yahoo.co.uk

I can't stop the cursor blinking despite going to system settings & keyboard.
In fact the cursor blink rate isn't affected by any changes to the
system-settings / keyboard blink-rate slider. The cursor doesn't blink in gedit
or other programs, so the problem seems specific to LibreOffice Writer, but I
don't use Calc etc.

This problem has continued across a number of Ubuntu & LibreOffice versions.
(I'm currently on Ubuntu 21.04)
