You are imprecise here. 
Which alignment tool, right click menu?
"try to place the image/object to the bottom of the page" - how exactly, with
Align..which?
..but that's not to align to bottom of page. 

Please attach sample with correct "other" and incorrect image alignment.

Is this a duplicate of bug 36117?
