Are you looking for the option Text Attributes > Drawing Object Text: Fit width
to text and Fit height to text?

Or is it the height of the text box, which would be Position and Size or Text
Attributes > Drawing Object Text: Fit height to text.

Anyway, you have drawn an object and modify now it's content. Think of a larger
shape place carefully in a collection of objects and you add some text to it.
You don't want the shape to change it's size according the containing text by
default.
