Bug ID: 144310
Summary: Calc 'Format Cells' dialog - Properties: 'Shrink to
fit cell size' option doesn't work correctly
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.2.0.4 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: eeigor at inbox.ru
Description:
If 'Shrink to fit cell size' option is selected, the text becomes too small,
and part of the text at the end is truncated.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter in cell A1:
abcdefhgiklmnoprst
Format as 'Shrink to fit cell size'.
2. Enter the same in cell A2 (not formatted).
3. Compare the result.
Actual Results:
The text in cell A1 is too small, and the end of the line is truncated (after
'n'). The formatted value takes up less than half the width of the cell.
Expected Results:
The text must fit within the cell at full its width and do not be truncated.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
