Hmmm, we have some misunderstanding - I think - about context & scope. 

The screencast is about spinbox being applied to preview. This is about input
fields which are dynamically interacting the other fields (except not being
visible). I admit there is some 'overlap' (so not completely different).
However a 'preview' not updating is slightly less problematic, IMHO. Screencast
of IrfanView updating size on typed input
