Even if we can't come up with some good general description / solution, just
listing the problems one may face when implementing / changing such a widget
might help people correctly testing functionality. That is generally a major
problem for myself. My latest example / failure is tdf#144412, where I
initially didn't even "groked" it to be a feature.
