Bug ID: 144463
Summary: "Showing a Slide Show" help doesn't match Impress UI
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.2.0.4 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: info at skierpage.com
The help for "Showing a Slide Show,
https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/lo/text/simpress/guide/show.html?&DbPAR=IMPRESS&System=UNIX
doesn't match the latest Impress UI.
1. Under "Open the Slide Transition sidebar deck" the help says
> In the Advance slide area, click Automatically after, and select a time duration
In 7.2.0.4 the area is simply labeled "After", not "Automatically after"
2. Under "To advance to the first slide" the help says
> 1. Choose Slide Show - Slide Show Settings.
> In the Type area, click Auto and select a pause time between shows."
There's no Type area any more. Based on the dialog and tooltips I think this
text should be something like:
"In the Presentation Mode area, click Loop and repeat after, and set the
duration of the pause between shows."
