Tests with master updated 2 days ago:

Version: 7.3.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 0a9b68c9f9880655576e3220d8b70064b367dbee
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.11; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu_20.04_x86-64
Calc: threaded

trial n°1: no problem, file opens fine, no crash
trial n°2: try to open from the startcenter, freeze at the beginning of the
progress bar
trial n°3: try from menu file > open, freeze at the end of the progress bar
