The problem is that it makes harder for a user to understand what is going on.

Sooner or later the user will face with a situation where some of his settings
are "reset" and some are not, and he doesn't know why.

Or a technical writer may write instruction about how LO should be configured
in his organization, but he would prefer to avoid giving directions regarding
settings that are already set up in the corporate template.
