The ticket was on the agenda for the design meeting but did not receive further
input. Solving the issue with more styles, as suggested in comment 2, sounds
reasonable but clutters the list of PS. And actually whether to use numbers or
characters is a matter of design and requires user decisions. And ultimately
not all foot-/endnote options are attributes of the PS. So let's add the
shortcut.
