I don't see that this was OK with attachment 173764 so I remove regression. 
It actually improved in 5.4, started to show image. 
It was: black and slow with 12 sec, black and fast, flower and 10 sec, flower
and 5 sec. And like that in 7.3+ Linux.

JPG has ripple slide transition, but same without it. 
I update the title.
