This has now been fixed in the daily builds. There is now a way to choose
"grid" or "list" in the file explorer. Grid also shows three (3) icons in each
row on my phone.

This is not a problem for me anymore.

This is still a problem. An simple option could do this.

This is now solved. LO for Android shows recent files at the top of the File
Explorer view.
