<pre>Per document the last edited "view" is remembered.
What is not now possible now is to force the GUI into one of the view modes on
launch--in this case Print vs. Web
And for this--the control needs to go somewhere Tools -> Options -> [module] ->
View makes the most sense, with the setting recorded per module to each users
"registrymodifications.xcu"
IMHO this as orthogonal to additional work needed to resolve <a class="bz_bug_link

title="NEW - Better options to control LibO window resize of the Start Screen and last used window size of each document module (summary in comment 10)"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=75644">bug 75644</a>, not
only as to size and placement of the module's window--but also its view mode.
Caolán got things started with
<a href="https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=b1314f22eb8de4359b5360194c04996351e9a6c2">https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=b1314f22eb8de4359b5360194c04996351e9a6c2</a>
which gave us framework and got us partway on the Sidebar for <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - CONFIGURATION: Sidebar customization settings not remembered after reopening"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=67770">bug 67770</a>
And now similar is going to be needed for recording customization of all the
MUFFIN assemblages.</pre>
