This might make sense for home users, but in the work place, destructive
defaults are a terrible idea. From web design to marketing, the compression
takes place at the very end of your workflow. You always want to work at
highest quality without losing anything until you are ready to publish your
content.
Compressing objects on the front-end is backwards and will lead to data loss.</pre>
