Equations that were wrong are MathType 5.0 and those that were fine are
Microsoft Equation 3.0. MathType 5.0 can't be edited, that's <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - Add MathType 4+ support for .doc and .docx"

Not reproduced in Windows. Looks OK with 5.3.2. Screenshot attached.</pre>
