I didn't knowingly do anything to 'fix' it. However about the same time I found that when typing "1st" the "st" was automatically changed to superscript. In addition when using <ctrl> Shift to cause a line break within a cell that the first alphabetic chatacter was automatically capitalized (I don't want that to happen). These changes occurred in version 5.3.0.3 about a month after it was installed.
