Thanks for reporting this bug. Unfortunately, I'm not able to follow all the
steps:
1. Go to Insert / fields / more fields
2. Go to Variables tab
3. Select 'User Field' in Type box
4. Add some text to 'Name' and press Enter
5. Select 'Input Field'
6. Select the field created previously in 'Select' box
and now ?</pre>
