<pre>This bug is still present LO 4.4.7.2 on GNU/Linux. I would suggest that this
is more like a feature request, in that missing code needs to be added to fix a
misleading 'feature'. Something like a new options for setting what the
'External tool' for editing images is, rather than defaulting to the system
default image viewer!</pre>
