title="RESOLVED FIXED - AutoCorrect entry of Emoji using : to define is conflicting with entry of time in format HH:MM:SS -- the :10:, :11:, or :12: clock faces emoji replace input value"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=97191">bug 97191</a> and
applied to builds > 5.2.2 and > 5.3.0
Have a look at the dialog in Tools -> AutoCorrect -> AutoCorrect Options, are
there entries for :10:, :11:, :12: substitution?
The disappearing text is result of autocorrection using a glyph codepoint (the
clock faces) that do not exist in the font in use.
Please post content of the Help -> About dialog, and perhaps check with a
cleared/default user profile.
