title="RESOLVED DUPLICATE - Magically disappearing text from dialogs and buttons"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=108832">bug 108832</a> was marked as duplicate of this bug. From description and
print-screen it may be the same problem. In bug report I have recorded the
video. My system Windows 7 SP1 using LibreOffice 5.3.4.2.
If this helps:
a) in my case I can see menus,
b) but some options display the same "-" character instead of text like Edit |
Find & Replace (can be seen in video) or Tools | Options | LibreOffice | User
Data | all labels are "-" instead of text
c) in some cases (there is not step-by-step reproducible) sometimes dialog
buttons (like Close button) changes text to "-" (see in video).
d) in some cases "Sheet1" text (on bottom spreadsheet tab) disappears, just a
white color tab without text.
e) I have ping-pong the versions and in 5.3.1.2 everything works fine and in
5.3.2.1 the problem appears (see detailed tests in my reported <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_RESOLVED bz_closed"
title="RESOLVED DUPLICATE - Magically disappearing text from dialogs and buttons"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=108832">bug 108832</a>),
just like the same as in <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=107166#c18">Comment 18</a> and <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=107166#c26">Comment 26</a> of current bug.
f) I have unchecked all of the Tools | Options | LibreOffice | View | Graphic
Output, closed down LibreOffice, make sure in Windows Task Manager (Show
processes from all users) there is no soffice.bin, deleted profile, and the
same problem. It looks this is not hardware acceleration problem.
Hope this helps.</pre>
