Or the user should be able to change the way he gets to the sigma icon. I for one couldn't change the location of the icon from the formula toolbar, nor move it to another toolbar, nor move it to a menu or submenu. If it was possible to move it to a menu or to another toolbar then the user could decide to assign keyboard shortcut to it if he wanted, just like for other commands on the toolbars and menus. But he should not be locked with the icon in only one possible position and only one way of activating it (by moving the mouse to the formula toolbar and clicking the icon.)
