<pre>Well - almost certainly we should switch to using freetype everywhere we can
for text rendering - although I guess for Windows (which IIRC has no PDF based
printer meta-file API) that means we would still need to use DirectWrite for
the GDI based printing logic - unless we implement some grim XPS generator to
match our PDF export that we could use for this =(</pre>
