Looks like you've got one of HPs hybrid AMD HD6770M dv6 laptops with "dynamic
switchable graphics" between on CPU HD 3000 and ATI 67xx series discrete GPU,
the AMD Catalyst bundle provides drivers for both GPUs.

You need to update the drivers.

Unfortunately HP never provided updated drivers. Several forums suggest the AMD
12-10 Catalyst mobility driver for the 6700M will update the HP HD6770M
instance

=-ref-=
This gives a step-by-step
<a href="https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Archive-Read-Only/GUIDE-Update-AMD-Mobility-Radeon-drivers-to-fix-graphics/td-p/1406655">https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Archive-Read-Only/GUIDE-Update-AMD-Mobility-Radeon-drivers-to-fix-graphics/td-p/1406655</a>

Follow the HP guidance for updating BIOS and set FIXED GPU mode (to use the AMD
chip while doing the driver update) for your dv6 model here:
<a href="https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02948560">https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02948560</a>

Then here are the download links for the
12-10_mobility_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql_net4 for 6700M:

For 32 bit:
<a href="http://www2.ati.com/Drivers/mobile/12-10_mobility_vista_win7_win8_32_dd_ccc_whql_net4.exe">http://www2.ati.com/Drivers/mobile/12-10_mobility_vista_win7_win8_32_dd_ccc_whql_net4.exe</a>

For 64 bit:
<a href="http://www2.ati.com/Drivers/mobile/12-10_mobility_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql_net4.exe">http://www2.ati.com/Drivers/mobile/12-10_mobility_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql_net4.exe</a>

YMMV but that should get you off the 8.882.2.3000 to at least test. You can
rollback if things go bad.</pre>
