<pre>We talked about this request today in the design/UX meeting. Updating the pivot
table may take a while on slow systems or in case of many data. So the
automatic function is not good, though Excel has it optionally (the request is
in <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "

href="show_bug.cgi?id=61793">bug 61793</a>).
While 'Refresh All' is simple to introduce it doesn't solve the actual problem
that you a) likely don't want to work on pivot tables that are not up-to-date
and b) have no feedback that a refresh is needed. The recommendation is to show
the status clearly, ideally with a progress and means to stop the processing
that both are not possible yet (new ticket <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_UNCONFIRMED "
title="UNCONFIRMED - Refresh status of pivot tables is not clear"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=109521">bug 109521</a>).
Setting this ticket to WONTFIX as the suggested solution is suboptimal. You
could do the trick with a macro, starting with advices from
