My mistake. I listed the bug as being in versions 3.x.x and I should have said
it was in versions 5.x.x. To repeat the problem. I created a 5 column Write
document in 5.3.3. When I opened it in 5.3.4.2, it changed to a 1 column
document. No real problem. I went to the column setup in 5.3.4 and changed to
5 columns and it works correctly and stays at 5 columns when I reopen.
