<pre>This ticket collects enhancement requests of a floating toolbar or menu similar
to what is known in Microsoft Office as options button. The design team talked
about the idea in general and the decision was to keep the tickets open and
collected together rather than closing it as wontfix. If such a GUI element is
introduced it should follow the MUFFIN approach an allows customization.</pre>
