If <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - Add *option* for proposing a file name based on the content of the document on first save"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=58685">bug 58685</a> is considered too, it is no easy hack.
I think, UX is still needed, because it is not clear yet, how the dialog should
look and work:
The dialog must provide the option to determine the export filter.
The dialog has an "automatic file extension" option, which needs the exact
filter.
There exists the request, that a default name is provided, <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - Add *option* for proposing a file name based on the content of the document on first save"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=58685">bug 58685</a>.
The request here does not distinguish between LO dialog or operating system
dialog.
The reporter makes several suggestions. It is not clear, which of them should
be taken, or perhaps a different way?
On Windows entering an expression with a * as wildcard in the file name field
and pressing enter will show only matching files without changing the selected
filter. For example "*" will show all files or "*3D*" will show all files, for
which the file name contains "3D" or "*.doc" will show old MS Word documents.
So for the Windows dialog no action is needed.</pre>
